Footballing Achievements

Football is a sport that is taken both serious and not so serious. It is something that brings you to another world a different level and lets you let loose. It is a game that helps you to bond with people and make new friends and also to work on you team work skills

Gaelic Football is a team game and can not be played without 15players. A game that brings people together to work as one in order to achieve.

There are many different competitions and tournaments for ladies football on both club and county levels.
for example in my home town we have
--> a mid Kerry league - This involves teams from the mid Kerry region to play games against eachother and in
      the end a cup is given to the winning team.
--> County Championship - this is a competition for all the teams in Kerry. Very similar to the mid Kerry league
      except there are more teams.
The County Championship competition has a continuation and gives clubs the chance to represent their province and reach the All-Ireland final. This is very tough to reach and is something that majority of clubs train so hard for all year round.


There are also a lot of 7 aside leagues and challenge games to be played throughout the year.


Playing for your county team is on the list of one of  the highest achievements you can make when playing Gaelic football. Here you can go on to winning out your Provence and continuing onto All Ireland level success.
