Hey everyone,
I'm back again. Hopefully by now those of you that didn't know anything about Gaelic football surly know a lot, or at least the basics. But the one thing that I haven't mentioned is that football like most other sports that requires to train all year round. Unfortunately this means training in the sun, rain, hail and yes even in the snow.
As a player myself I know that getting up from a warm comfy spot on the couch to a freezing cold football pitch is something that I dread. Even the thought of getting up is horrible never mind actually going forward with it. But if your a dedicated footballer you gotta do what you gotta do, and if that means you end up looking like a drowned rat after a session then that is what you got to look like to get your position on the team.
Making that effort to go to training has been quite difficult for me lately. Dublin being soo much colder than Kerry and the treck to training is considerably longer than any treck to training I have ever had to make =[. The hour long journey to training has been a thought that I have somehow managed to slip into the back of my mind lately and have had to persuade my self COMPLETELY to get up out of my warm apartment and go to.
